BOOKKEEPER

Villas10 is looking for a part-time bookkeeper (contract) who will be responsible for building the financial foundation. Once built, this role will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, record keeping, vendor management, and other administrative and bookkeeping duties as needed.

THE MUST HAVES:

  • Must be passionate about the Villas10 Brand (What we do, who we are and how we do it)

  • 2-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience (preferably in a retail/interior design environment)

  • MUST have Quickbook experience implementing, administering and training

  • Google Docs Proficiency

  • Organized, accurate, orderly and efficient

JOB DESCRIPTION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Setup and maintain Quickbooks Online (provide training)

  • Develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for reconciling weekly transactions (paypal, venmo, honeybook, etc)

  • Produce regular financial reports including income and expense, balance sheets, year to date income and expense, and account receivable and make them available in PDF format as well as Quickbooks Online access.

  • Provide a monthly summary overview to Founder strategizing growth, opportunities and risks (proactive planning)

  • Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations

  • Sales Tax Filings

  • Billing & Invoicing

  • 1099 Filings

  • Coordination with External Tax Preparer
